Mainstay is a Walmart internal brand. I'd sooner trust the house brand than an unknown brand. They probably come from the same factory. But the house brand will likely have better documentation and maybe even support. Plus it's less likely to burn down your house or electric you as Walmart has a lot to lose from such a scenario but the unknown brand can just close up shop in such a scenario.
