Reading is fundamental.

No, the listing comes up as the bundle.

However, the OP also included a link to just the console if one doesn't want the bundle. As I said, reading is fundamental.

Quote from Spaceman6969 : You're exaggerating there. This is not a good console to upgrade from Switch OLED. The gameplay experience is not drastically different anyways I mean you can't play Mario Kart World OR the upcoming Donkey Kong Bananza on the Switch OLED, so… I disagree. And while the screen itself is quite the downgrade in terms of visual quality, particularly when it comes to contrast and black levels, it's also a major upgrade in terms of refresh rate and general performance.

This is like 2020 all over again, everyone chasing an elusive console that basically has no new games. What is the point?
I'd argue with at least the Series X and PS5, there were a number of 3rd party games released around the same time (holiday season). In addition, if you only owned a base PS4/Xbox One, you could play the backlog of games at the PS4Pro/One X resolution/FPS. Some games received 60 FPS patches too.

As someone who had a 4K TV, but didn't have a PS4 Pro, it was a great way to take advantage of my backlog of games, plus they included around 20 best hits for free, a few of which I didn't already own/play.

For the Switch 2 - it would personally be an immediate buy for me if they unlocked it so you could play Switch 1 titles as docked mode (so 1080P) while handheld. I rarely played my switch on my TV, so being able to play games at full res would be a large upgrade personally.

I got my Switch 2, day one, from Target preorder. Are they really that hard to find that retail is a Slick Deal?
Slickdeals has become a stock finder site these days, but usually it farms likes for the OP as they are gone before anyone can take advantage as there are real-time stock finder websites that are better. Personally I wish SD would stick to deals.

I'm very happy with my upgrade from Switch OLED. I mainly play docked. The Zelda games run so much better on Switch 2. Higher resolution, higher and more consistent frame rate. It's just a higher performance Switch, which is exactly what I wanted. Frame rate dips really pull me out of games.

FOMO is real with this. This will not fill the void in your life, but if this makes you happy, good for you.

I got one launch day. I can say with confidence, its not worth it at the current price. If you can get it cheaper sure, or if you can wait, i'd wait.
1- there are practically no games for it, MKW is just mario kart 8 on steroids...... yea, it doesnt feel all that different.

TO ALL THOSE WONDERING IF YOU SHOULD BUY ONE, UNLESS YOU NEED TO PLAY MARIO KART WORLD RIGHT NOW, DONT.
I have one, it literally collects dust. Theres nothing overly special are different about this system compared to last gens. A little better gameplay on SOME games, a little better graphics on SOME games. its meh. Mario Kart World is okay, but it just feels like a more chaotic Mario Kart 8, feels super familiar. here arent any other real NS2 games out right now, and if youre content with the NS original or OLED, stick with it until you have to buy a new one. Sure gamecube games are fun, but theres practically no online mode [unless you have OTHER friends with NS2]
I will say the NS2 does feel nicer, size/screen wise, but worth a upgrade right now, it is not.
obviously the choice is yours, but theres no urgent reason to buy 1 today, or for the next few months based on the current line up.
