It's less expensive than the original Switch adjusted for inflation and the components are superior.
Bro just stop - I actually cannot believe randos on the internet defend Nintendo and their shady strategies. Are their games fun? Yes. Are they anti-consumer - 1000%. Fanboys aren't helpful in any feasible way for change.
How do people get through life being as delusional as you?
They are right though. Games cost less today than they did back in the n64 era adjusted for inflation. People have just gotten way too comfortable with the price staying the same for years. How are companies supposed to keep developing $100m+ budget games and expect to return a profit enough to make sequels? I'm not even trying to be a corporate bootlicker; this is simple economics.
You're also posting and joining the argument in a video game post? The lack of self awareness is crazy.
Ask the companies who do it on a much lower budget quite regularly these days. WuKong, Expedition 33, Lies of P. I can keep going - just because you pay your employees a lot and the CEO makes a lot doesn't mean you can charge a lot for "AAA" games. Don't be fooled by the self-proclamation of AAA or even AAAA games, as the evidence shows that these games usually are the ones that disappoint us the most these days.

Dragon Age Veilguard, Concord, Star Wars Outlaws, Suicide Squad, Skull & Bones, Anthem, Redfall, even Cyberpunk was a flop until years later after it was fixed. I could keep going but these are just a few of the AAA flops in the last year.
