Nvm, the 14 inch model is $999 at Costco but $15 shipping. I might just go for that

Just an fyi- this is not a gaming laptop. It's a high-performance general productivity laptop
Yup, I've been tracking the price on this chip too brother, not sure why whoever thumbed you down did that, gave you a thumb up for being on same ship
Turning off AMD Varibright lowers the battery life a bit but imho it's good to do so unless you're really trying to extend battery, since it changes screen gamma. Set the refresh rate of the display to adaptive too.
Hopefully there will be more bright+matte options in the future! I'm sure there are dozens of us who want to compute outside! ;-)
