It's depends on what game you play. They are both pretty even but the 5060ti have DLSS which is supported by more games and better ray tracing but shouldn't really matter much for for these cards

Wow! 5% off! Sounds like a deal one can't miss. I gotta run to order one before they're sold out.

Yeah and without looking at benchmarks I'm betting at least double if not triple when using FSR.

easily, my vega 64 beats your 1070 and this card if i remember right should be in most aspects double at like half the power usage

think its roughly a slightly higher than 7700xt at 1440p and slightly below the 7800xt

Microsoft Copilot/Grok etc are great resources for researching PC upgrades. Here is what Copilot said. "The RX 9060 XT 16GB is a massive leap forward in raw performance, memory capacity, and modern features like ray tracing and PCIe 5.02.
  • It's roughly 45–50% faster in gaming benchmarks across 1080p, 1440p, and even 4K resolutions.
  • The GTX 1070 still holds up for older titles and budget builds, but the RX 9060 XT is clearly the better choice for future-proofing and high-end gaming.
If you're building or upgrading a rig, the RX 9060 XT is a beast for the price. Want help picking a compatible CPU or PSU to go with it?"
It is almost 100% more powerful. Even this heavily biased Nvidia site reports so.

https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Com...vsm2417253

It is about 45% faster than my old rx 7600, which is roughly 40% faster than a 1070. So yea, way off.

No, the 5070 ti is a little faster...I mean it is/was almost 2x this price.

Too bad that info is completely wrong. The 9060xt is over double the performance of a 1070

I've found this website helpful when comparing GPU performance between different cards, especially the relative performance section:
