Had one of these, refurbished from MSI thru ebay. Picture quality was pretty good. It never happened to me but I have heard complaints of the panel going bad after awhile but you got 2 years of warranty. This price can't be beat for what this is. I think the panel is slightly better than the discontinued Dell 27" 1440 165Hz monitor. G2724D

Not the first time I've bought this exact monitor from eBay. The last two are working great. At this price, getting another one is a no-brainer.

Can't find info on this specific model anywhere, just the E2 and QD variant. Can anyone link a review?

No, that would be the QD variant, this model doesn't have quantum dot. I assume it's also an earlier model, but other info beyond MSI rovided spec sheets seems scarce..
Was about to pull the trigger on this, price seems great, but lack of reviews is making me hesitate. Kind of wild how challenging it is to find a well reviewed 1440p 27" mixed gaming/productivity monitor, even with a budget twice this price. Also been looking at LG 27GR83QPF and AW2725dm, but unsure.

Link broken for me, but after searching the model manually, the reviews are slightly more positive than the awful amazon reviews. But not convinced this is such a hot deal.. The one-star reviews are talking about it dying or otherwise becoming barely usable, and that's with costco returns/ext warranty
I haven't purchased anything big on ebay recently, and never with an allstate 3rd party warranty.. Has anyone here had to warranty a monitor through this sort of ebay policy? Is shipping for returns/repair covered? I don't see the policy details on the listing, monitors are super expensive to ship back (and kind of a hassle even if the shipping is free)
