It's a whack 3rd party direct from China seller. Avoid

Edit: The $309 combo looks like it's fulfilled by Amazon with prime shipping. That one might be ok, but your odds on the slow shipped ones from China are real low

For that one combo fulfilled by Amazon, maybe decent chance. The others, read the seller reviews, a bunch that ordered higher priced drones and got a Neo or other issues. Amazon likes to sweep those under the rug as "fulfillment" issues so the seller doesn't get a ding on their rating.

Thanks for the input. I ended up taking a chance on the one fulfilled by Amazon. Will inspect it when it arrives.

Amazon definitely has some shady practices regarding fake products, and their feedback system. I have had issues with both in the past. You'd think they'd just ban sellers pulling that crap, but it's clear that they value money over ethics.

I hope you get lucky! There have been a bunch of these shady China direct sellers with DJI drones with terrible seller reviews and Amazon doesn't really seem to do anything about it. This is the first I've seen one shipped from a US warehouse, so it'll be interesting to see what happens.

How does this compare to the Neo bundle for $10 less? I don't really mind that this one has less batteries, I just care about the quality and features.

The Neo bundle doesn't include a controller if I remember correctly. You can fly it with your phone, but that's going to have a very limited range.

DJI is Chinese and it is currently restricted from being imported by CBP. So you have no other way of buying it other than buying via direct ship from China

lol what's to be afraid of? It's Amazon if it's fake opened or broken, you get the money back. Use a good credit card helps too. It's foolproof. Most of the time you don't even need to return the item if they try to scam
