Big Nope. Mini-USB charger. I got the 3pack with USB-C for about that price.

2 mile range sucks because you want 10-15 mile range to get 5 mile talking

Not an expert, havent tried, but I can't imagine these would work when inside the ship. MAYBE when outside from one end to another but once those steel walls are around, doubt these can pass through any more than down the hall.

Hoping someone with experience can chime in.

These vs baofeng bf888s? The baofengs have worked well for me... until my wife dropped one in the lake.

Just received the USB-C versions of these yesterday and they'll probably get returned. No battery charge indicator and no display. Better options in this price range IMO.

The no display part gets me, also. I ordered these, for when the grandkids go on bike rides. I currently have a few Midland T51a models. They do have a battery indicator, but still when the batteries start to get low, it's difficult to understand the other person. They work pretty good, and reach a good distance(½ mile), considering they are 305mW, according to FCC ID. The Retevis RT 22 are 1.08 W.

2 mile range
On a good day with clear line of sight. Put some buildings or trees between, probable a mile if no hill in between.

Are there any GMRS radios that don't have so many buttons on the front, are on the small side, and easier to carry?

If using these while traveling in cars on the road, will these work if the cars are close enough?
From my experience with radios like this, being in a car really kills the signal. But if you are close enough, it should work.
