Woops, forgot to add that. I put it in the post and the title.

And FYI people, this is the version you'd want. the one without the F is a little more money and comes with gsync ultimate instead of freesync pro. apparently the gsync one has a fan in it that you can hear and it can be annoying and also you apparently cannot update the firmware on that model. the only thing you get from the gsync version is that it can do VRR below 30fps. Chances are if you are buying this monitor you can afford a setup that can do more than 30fps, so you gain nothing.

Is the pixel refresh every 4 hrs true? And does it last 5 mins? I was about to buy and saw a review about it and it turned me off completely lol. Imagine in a game or halfway doing something important and need to take a 5 mins break

Had this monitor for two years and got it for $1000. I absolutely love it. It's the best PC gaming upgrade I've done in a long time. I will never go back after using an OLED Ultra wide. I use it for gaming and creative work. There are better Ultra wide OLEDs now but this is still an amazing monitor at a great price.

yes, it recommends a pixel refresh every 4 hours and it does take up to 5 minutes. however, you can either select no on the prompt and delay it or completely turn off the reminders and never see it. I have them turned off and manually run the refresh when I'm taking a break. it has never caused a disruption to me.

A fan makes for better cooling, which makes for higher sustained brightness. There are trade offs. I own this monitor and it was a massive upgrade for gaming, more so than a GPU upgrade.

I have this monitor and love it. There is an option for the pixel refresh to only do it when the monitor goes into standby, which I have it set to. I WFH, so when I go on break or lunch, it will do the refresh. It has not been disrupting my workflow or gaming at all. Also, you will know it's doing it when it changes the color of the front LED. 10/10 Recommend.

I'm genuinely curious as to why? Are you going to use it for productivity or photo editting? Would 4k be better for that over a OLED display?

While it says every 4 hours it won't just shut off mid game I've gamed for 4+ hours 6-8+ hours no issues but when I do take breaks I'll turn off rhe screen which prompts pixel refresh takes like 5 min yea. Other than that it's really fantastic OLED monitor

Besides gaming, would photo editing be doable with this? I love the deep colors of an OLED display
