Our neighbors gave one of these to our kids for Christmas one year, we have never used it for disc golf, but we created a football game where you put it on one end of the yard and can either run and drop it in the basket, or throw it from a distance and hit the chains and land in the basket, for a touchdown. It is a huge hit the neighbors kids all love to play it.
Yep, it sold out before I could finish checking out.
Ordered today, happily took the $10 loss for my deal procrastination; I was really bummed when I missed out on it after envisioning the backyard disc time. Same product, prior thread said this is a deal even at $80. My guess is they sold out the $40 stock batch and got another one cleared to sell at $50.
Also: does ANYONE else call these "traps"? That's what I've always called them, but the internet insists on calling them baskets...
These look just like the Remix Discs version, which is great.
The key with cheap disc golf baskets is you want the cage to be independent and get sandwiched between two pole sections like this.
On some of them the bottom of the cage is welded to a short pole section and they will rust and break off over time - even if you keep them in a garage while not in use.
Have one like this for practice in back yard.. should I get another for there and back again, a Bilbo Disc-ggins story-- or get a heavier duty type one?

I've got two of probably these from dynamic discs... having two is awesome! I want more! I think if you're competitive you may want to consider better ones. I just say to myself "that was in" when a better basket would catch it...
anyone actually used this EXACT basket? Price seems good but not a single review to be found anywhere online for it.
In the previous thread I mentioned it's the same as the MVP Black Hole Pro (24 chains). These are made overseas and sold under various brands. Same stock photos, specifications, etc. different stickers on it. $40-50 is a great price - lowest I've seen.
I saw the deal is over but I wanted to report that I bought one for $40 a couple days ago and it already showed up. It's great for the price wish I would've bought 2. I would warn anyone else who purchased one, be very careful threading the post into the base. It really wanted to cross thread.
