This is a really good point. Most people do not know how good the "replicas" from AliExpress/Random Store look, right down to the packaging. I would caution folks from buying this used from Amazon. You can get lucky, but I'd advise against it despite the price being very attractive.

These arrived… near perfect conditioN.. pretty sure they're real. They sound awesome. Similar to my AirPods Pro 2. They had another persons name, but I was still able to pair them and then just rename them lol
They even shows warranty until 4/26.

I bought one of these from best buy new and it looked open box. The tape was easily peeled without having to rip the two open labels.

I ordered ones with ANC, 20% off, for 91.xx plus tax. Received a brand new Airpods Pro 2! I do not know how but seems like a chaos due to Prime day at Amazon.

Ordered thinking I was ordering ANC set and ordered the regular one by mistake. Amazon sent me a brand new pair now I am not sure if I return it or keep it.

I rolled the dice on the ANC version and mine looked like new. Pretty sure they are legit, serial matches box, case, and on phone. Has warranty through end of november, anc works great. no issues on my end

I just got one with ANC for $97 inc tax. Arrived in a sealed box that had a bit of oil residue and scuff marks. Opened up, set it up like a new airpods and even shows warranty info until next year. Sound seems better than my pro1 with richer bass and clear overall. Glad I saw that sensible comment saying they are not actually used. Hats off!

Just opened it up. Yup. Fake. How can I tell? The model number in settings didn't match the model number on the outside. Both numbers returned as airpod 3. The right airpod heated up real fast and started burning my ear. Lesson learned. I hate scammers.
