Honestly, at twice the price, is anyone using an OS/File System that leverages this?

I get it, it's speed + size, but there are just so many other limitations of disk manipulation that bottlenecks elsewhere; I am just really unimpressed with the gains of straight outlay of cash and what it gets you.

I barely noticed the jump from SATA SSD to NVME. The biggest gain was eliminating the latency and seek time of spinning rust. The gains since then has been minimal for most users.

O boy, NO. I can't even utilize my gen4 ssd to its complete potential, and with premium, gen5 is a no-no for me. But I appreciate the innovation.

Just a heads up, if you have a family member you can work with to get your Amazon to the College Student discount, looks like all these SSD sales have the '10% Young Adult cashback' in addition to the sales price.

You know the difference between SATA SSD to NVME is a bigger jump than spinning HDD to SATA SSD, right?
Just because you don't notice doesn't mean it's not a massive leap, or that others won't notice.

Have both of those drives and never had an issue. 99% of owners won't.
Samsung Pro are still some of the most reliable drives
