Super solid deal. You can get the ax86 pro for about 114 before taxes, but if you don't need all the extra overhead/features, this is worth the price.

Thank you kind stranger, your comment made me pull the trigger even though I don't know much about routers, just bought a new house, I have been using a Asus T-Mobile cellspot router for almost 10 years so it was time for an upgrade lol. I hope I'll be happy with this one

If you need openwrt...the flint 2 brand new for $126 is the best router on the market right now for the money

Probably not much difference. Many people are willing to pay a premium for Merlin for all the extra functionality it provides, but if you don't care about that then this one is a good option.
