Would not recommend due to cpu problems intel had with HX lineup on laptops. Desktop was the worst however numerous users have reported major degrading issues with their higher end 14th gen cpus.

I might consider returning, due intels 14th gen cpu problems especially with this 14900HX. I would suggest searching other users current status of their chips

What issues were there with laptop CPUs? I am well aware of the issues the desktops had that were fixed with numerous microcode updates via bios firmware, but the laptop variants were not affected by that, so what is it you are referring to?

I have 2 laptops with this exact CPU, in fact, our whole company has these. No mass issues across hundreds of devices, so still an anecdote but not really.

I have also not seen any reputable site with these CPUs on the list of affected by that issue.

"Add to cart" is grayed out for me after I selected everything - Anything obvious I'm missing? Seems like a good deal.

Tried on several browsers - appears deal is dead, they shut it down.

Only the 200 series 4080 is available now.

AI chat bot confirms out of stock but took several prompts to get it to say that.

That's wild, glad I don't live in one of those states.. a 330w (max) computer isn't allowed lol ?

No issue with massive datacenters using 100MW + at all ..

I explained it earlier but I guess my post was deleted because people have to get all political. Although mine wasn't political at all, it quoted someone. Anyway some states have laws on idle power usage and apparently these must violate that minimum requirement or CyberPC just doesn't want to deal with it and decided to blanket refuse to ship. There are more powerful laptops that ship to those places...

Kind of the point, who would want to deal with it for a 330w max computer ( idle no way this thing is puling more than half that), people find ways around just ship to a relative in XXXX and have them bring it along. Been doing this for years with several of the carb compliant stuff on the small engine side.

The theory is great, but there isn't an issue with folks flying private jets / helicopters to avoid an hour of traffic, but if you have a laptop that draws a little too much power it's not allowed to ship there lol Stick Out Tongue
