My laptop backpack has been in need of replacing for a while. Picked one up... why not at that price. Just return it if it's crap, or regift it 🤷

When you multiply the dimensions it is not a 40l bag but closer to 31l. Not a big deal but for this size there are possibly better options at similar price. What made this amazing was the 40l personal item which it is not

Amazon did this to discourage crappy sellers and to stop people from buying and returning, costing amazon money.

Why, tho? It might take a while for zippers to crap out like after 30 or 90 days or after several uses, or stitches to pop. Why not get something durable. I bought a $45 Samsonite backpack, I've been using it for more than 8 years, almost every single day. It has been rock solid, no rips or tears other than stitch coming undone on one of the straps from rubbing against my shoulder.

I have this bag and am using it on a current trip. It has a ton of space, fits under airplane seats well while meeting their carryon specs, and seems decently made. Have taken it on a few trips and it has held up very well. Has a lot of different compartments including a shoe compartment on the bottom of the bag. Zippers are holding up well despite some strain from packing the bag with a lot of stuff. Overall I am very pleased with the bag and would recommend

got Amazon backs backpack for $20. The first HOUR of using the small side wrap ripped on the side. Amazon gave me 50% off ($11 back). Oh well.

I measured it empty on my own and It weighs 2.06 lb, which is not bad for it's size.

I'm using it currently on my trip to Asia and it holds plenty of room.
It has only has the chest strap holder, which helps with heavy loads, but no thigh straps for additional support (probably is not needed for 40L).

No designated water compartment.
Not a lot of pockets.
I keep confusing the main compartment zippers (located in the far bottom side and harder reach) with the extended size zippers (located on top and easier to reach) . It's not a deal breaker but it's an annoyance.

I can't speak for durability since it's been only a few days.

A lot of the backpacks are. I just checked and the Osprey Fairpoint and Cotopaxi Allpa also show the same banners.

This bag looks decent but the water comment may stop me. I want a nice backpack that will hold my water bottle without falling out when putting it on.
