Not true. Higher-end Zwilling knives are made in Germany, along with Wüsthof. There are also lots of Japanese knives that are made in Japan.

For these knives the steel is German the rest is done in China. A few Henvkels are still made in Germany and a fair number in Spain.

Most of vegetables are made in Mexico. Looks like nobody will eat.

And lots of japanese made knives are overpriced and overhyped. Location isn't everything.

Can't remember the last time I have heard someone complain about made in Mexico, or I've personally had an issue with a product made in Mexico.

For example, video game discs, never had an issue with those, personally.

Well I watch Slickdeals like a hawk and I can easily tell the difference between made in Germany and China when it comes to knives.
