Note that though 20g of protein, it's only 33% of RDA (instead of 40%), meaning it has lower quality protein (PDCAAS). It should be a 1:2 ratio for pure whey protein.

Which flavor are you referring to? Chocolate deluxe shows 37% for 21g protein. Which evaluates to 35.2% if talking about 20g

what does it mean in simpler terms? I'm waiting for Barebells to go on sale again and meanwhile need some substitute. Would this work?

well, maybe you're right. I just read the comment as if I need to eat more of those to hit the same protein intake goal which would also mean more calories to account for.

Off topic, but has anyone noticed that Amazon has changed S/S to add weekly deliveries? So it messes up trying to add anything from here to your next Monthly delivery.

This causes you to lose the 15% opportunity unless you order 5 each week.

So when I try to add this to my Aug S/S delivery it forces me to a July 16th delivery at a higher price....

What they do now is suggest a delivery every say "6 weeks", if you dont change that to "X months" then you will trigger a new S/S delivery date and not got the full quantity discount.

I don't think it matters too much from a health perspective, but it's more a reflection they're using fillers/lower quality ingredients. Check other protein bars -- almost all of them are a 20g for 40%, meaning it's pure whey driving that protein content. Not sure what they put into here, but it's a sign they put other things.

I get around that by changing the delivery to every three months and it adds to my monthly date then.

Pure Protein is by far the best tasting bars I've tried, and I've tried a lot. This one & cookies/cream however are the worst tasting out of all of them imho.

Yes this is correct, but it's still a scam to get you to pay more for an S/S item and then have so many delivery dates (if you dont pay attention) that you buy things you dont want.
