This deal may single handedly crash the electric mower market...who would pay $1200 for a ego...

Having used both GW and Ego, I strongly prefer Ego. Cuts better, easier to use and self propel mechanism is much nicer. Since this is a push mower and probably the cheapest I've ever seen, it is a price I would gladly pull the trigger

Only issue I've had is it doesn't pick up pine needles very well like my gas mower. I would normally just run them over and bag them up in the fall

I'm not familiar with Ego, but I have this model and it's a big improvement over my previous greenworks mower. They have so many models it's hard to keep up. At this price it's a great deal for sure. I paid significantly more and have an extra 2AH battery with mine but don't even need it, the 4AH does 8000 sqft lot with plenty to spare. Wish I had waited, but c'est la vie.

$64 seems worth it for larger battery and self propelled?

I'm trying to decide between the Amazon and Walmart versions too. I don't need it to be self propelled. Just trying to decide if the bigger battery and any other features make it worth the price difference. I might just pull the trigger on the Amazon one.

This was posted a few days ago at $257 , now it's $244. Walmart refuses to adjust per their policy so the only way to get the lower price is cancel/return the higher order and order the lower price. How ridiculous is this policy…

They have a bunch of Greenworks mowers on sale at WM right now. I paid $450 on sale for this model last year [walmart.com] and have no complaints. Its a self propelled 60V with 2 batteries and a dual fast charger $384.99.
