I usually find with RTD's that they don't taste much different than what you can achieve using the powders yourself, but what you really gain is convenience, consistency, and and a better texture. I actually get more gassy/bloated from some powders because mixing them myself makes a lot of bubbles in the drink and I literally end up swallowing a lot of air because I'm impatient and don't want for the drink to settle. You pay more for RTD's because they're easy and fast, not because they're better or tastier.

Hate to be the ingredient police but based on the ingredients, the RTD version doesn't have all these artificial dyes (like RED #40 which is now getting banned by the FDA) in them like the powder does. In this case, I'd probably opt for the RTD version with the difference of ingredients. I attached a screenshot of the ingredients of the powder below but in the "EDIBLE GLITTER" there's 4 different artificial dyes.

They recently added this to the Fairlife 30g protein shake at Costco if anyone buys that and is not aware - taste changed as well - reddit threads confirm
