Do you ever find yourself stacking this on the larger boxes or just stack the same size together? I'm trying to decide how many when I already have a few larger ones.

i prefer not to stack different sized boxes together. not practical, so I stay with the same size storage boxes.

I'm not home to measure my kits, but does this connect with TSTAK or toughsystem?

The latching is a weak plastic yellow latch, so you cannot stack TOO many before its unstable.
ALso notice: on this item above, the latching mechanism for the lid is ALSO plastic and one part with the lid, NOT metal, and NOT hinged, you need to bend the plastic latch to get it over the tab. Another break point, and these are NOT like the very nice bin version larger ones that these attach to. I was about to buy these 10-bin systems, but noticed the latches are weak and breakable. Decided I don't really need this small container.

Thanks! I now see the closure is just plastic tabs, no latches. I can't see myself stacking different sizes, but wasn't sure if I was missing something. Maybe just so it doesn't slide during transport. I ordered two to try them. Will either return them or buy more on another sale.
