Samsung and Apple sell a ton of tablets, for a lot more money. This is a silly comment.

Apple actually has about 50% of the market (really around 47%, but I'm not above rounding), and Samsung has approximately 28-30%. I get it, you don't like android tablets, but saying that no one wants a $500 tablet simply isn't true.

what's the point of all that power if there's nothing to really do with it

Underrated comment. No one wants a nearly $500 Android tablet.

Samsung sells the current S series tablet for at least $900. The Ultra costs more than $1000. For $500, you can't even get the current premium Samsung tablet. For $500, you can get S10 FE (less power) or S9 (previous version) Actually, I did spend $500 on an older generation of Samsung tablet because I could not afford to spend $900 on the current generation.

An iPad has a worthy tablet app ecosystem. Android is hot garbage. That is why Apple sells double the number of tablets of anyone else and has about 40% of the market share. When you're talking high rent tablets like 500 Ish and above I bet you the iPad has significantly more of that market share.

You can spend half as much for an android tablet that's nearly as good. The problem is Android is suboptimized on ANY tablet.

Apple has some apps that are good for drawing and video editing (if you want to do that on a table) but for regular day to day use, Samsung tablets are better. Better for media consumption with their oled screens and form factor. This is still just some fanboy nonsense, touting drawing apps to justify using an inferior tablet. Now if Apple stopped limiting the iPad and let it run mac apps with it's massive amount of unused power, I'd agree with you. But now, Samsung is better.

You may brush it aside as nonsense. But the threat is real. Because of how we have been conditioned to ignore overwhelming numbers of threats and how greed can override prudence, China is absolutely spying on the US. There have been so many arrests of Chinese citizens in the US for the past 10 years and so many instances where they found spyware in high value industries that this is no joke to be brushed aside.
