Not sure how good the Core 2 is but my original Core was spotty and I had to align the cable just the right way to get the audio to play out of both ears. I got a G535 here and it sounds much better and is wireless.

4th picture says HyperX Cloud Mini, and has red accents, so it's just some auto-generated or incorrect images.
It's wired so there shouldn't be any reason why it wouldn't work on a PC.
