Agree with Tender above. Have been using it a while now and it's fantastic. There were a couple reviews that talked about dimming / darkening around the edges, but I've seen none of it. It's been fantastic.
Before anyone says, "But it's VA…" VA is what you want with a curved monitor.
Why do you want VA for curved? I went from a flat IPS (27" 1440p, 150 Hz) to a curved VA (34" 3440x1440, 165 Hz) and I felt it was borderline unusable for gaming (FPS, RTS) due to how distracting the ghosting was. I could even notice it on the Windows desktop when moving the mouse (it felt like someone turned on mouse trails).
I swapped to a curved Samsung 49" DQHD OLED and it feels so much better than the VA. Though TBH, not a huge fan of super ultra wide for gaming or general use. I would probably have preferred a 32" 4k but the deal was too slick to pass up ($500+tax).
Only sold at Newegg which is one of the WORST retailers out there? Good luck!
Says who? They fell off for a while but came back strong post covid. I use to bash them myself but not anymore. They doing great and moving in right direction.
Anyone has any good deal suggestions for 27" general monitor with above 1080 resolution? Thank so much for any help. Samsung has deal weeks ago but I don't qualify for their EPP & EDU discount.

I'm sorry. I was only talking about VA vs IPS. If you have an OLED, you win. Like, you super win. Lol. OLED and/or QD-OLED is what you really want. VA is garbage compared to OLED. That's a whole different league. Pay absolutely no attention to my comment. I just meant that if you're looking at a budget monitor, and it's curved, then VA is better than IPS. Normally, IPS is what you want if it's not curved and if you're not buying an OLED or QD-OLED. There is nothing better than OLED/QD-OLED.
As for the first part of what you said, regarding ghosting with your original VA, Idk what to tell you about that. Every display is different. It's just easier to Google why VA curved is better than IPS curved.

I bought it 2 or 3 years ago, still going perfectly. I love it, ordering 2 more right now for the kids set-up. It's worth every penny to me.
