You can change your cc after activation and then turn off auto pay
Auto pay is not on. It's not required for this promo.

Use GV to port in, still process, able to call, mobile internet but cannot receive phone call. Is that normal?
Yes. Your port has not completed yet. Your calls will still be going to the old carrier. They called me last night to let me know that my port would complete in a couple days.

Did you look at a single page of this thread before asking this?

Do i have to use the same number I gave during the order process for port in or can i change it once I get the phone ? I now have 2 disposable Lyca mobile numbers and would rather use the other one ( which i did not give during the order process to TW)

Any other alternative apart from GV. My Google voice is not working and Google support is useless

I use a Chime virtual card for stuff like this. After it clears, I freeze the card so Total (or anyone else) can't charge me for anything again unless I want them to.
I used to use BOA which would let me generate virtual card but they stopped doing that a while ago. Just trying to understand how chime works, you have 1 virtual credit card number, you use that for "these" transcations, then freeze it so no one can charge you. The next time you want to make a transaction like this, you unfreeze it , make a transaction and freeze again. Rinse and Repeat?

You can choose phone numbers to port in during activation. TW does not keep track of the number you used for verification.

In my Chime account, I have a physical card and a virtual card. The virtual card number can be frozen or changed after you make a purchase if you don't want that particular vendor to have future access to if after the initial transaction. If you unfreeze that number it is active again. If you change that number it replaces the previous one and renders it null and void for future transactions.

Verizon is trying to nuke the 60 day rule right now. Everyone should file an FCC comment reply by July 21 to push back: https://www.reddit.com/r/verizon/...you_to_do/ [reddit.com] - This article says the window has expired, but if you post a comment as a "reply to other comments" (it is on the FCC comment form under comment type) they will still field it.
Until there is a change in this 'rule', wouldn't anyone who signs up for one of these 'deals' be subject to the existing 60 day unlocking policy?

That's not what happened April 1st, policy change was immediately put into effect for everyone with no notice, didn't matter when they activated.

Verizon has changed it retroactively in the past, legal or not. Go file a comment.

File a comment where? In the Verizon Unlocking Waiver Petition thread? I did that in June.
