This is not the middle tier or lower end stuff made in India or some other third world country. These are the good ones.
The larger knife is 150 by itself.
This is a great deal for great knives that will last a lifetime with proper care.
FYI, do not put these in dishwasher regardless of what the recommendations are.
Hand wash only for longevity.
Just buy them, you won't regret it.

And it all started with a set similar to this, and I simply kept adding to it when I would find a good sale on different types of knives in the Pro S line (Santoku, Chef's, Bread, Boning, Nikiri, different sizes of some, etc) at Williams-Sonoma or wherever.
They come with a lifetime warranty, and I've used it twice. Both times were my fault. Both times they sent a box to me, and I paid shipping one way. Within a few weeks a new knife arrived for free.
Best kitchen investment I've made. It makes you a better cook, and it makes cooking easier, safer, and more fun. I have cooked for countless parties and get-togethers with friends and family through the years. My kids were raised in a kitchen with a full set of these knives, and are proficient in using them. They know that they are getting a nice block of knives like these when they get married and start their own home.
I don't need any knives, but this is a great deal. If you're just starting out or want to reset your kitchen knives, buy this and you'll never regret it.
