With an AARP membership, it is offering $40 off walmart+ making it $58 bucks a year. This is a yearly discount for new or existing members that will auto renew at $58 bucks a year if you confirm AARP membership and assuming AARP keeps the promotion active.

I had my annual plan already and have been a walmart + subscriber for a few years now. They let me "renew" at the special AARP rate to be charged at the end of my current membership, which ends in October 2025.

To be an AARP member it only costs $15 a year and any age can sign up. I'm 41 and have a membership. Taking advantage of this offer nets you $25 in the black.

To get offer ---> Log into your account --->Go to "membership & benefits" (located at the top of the page in the red colored menu bar) --->Scroll down until you see "Shopping & Groceries" on the left side menu and select it ---> You should see the Walmart+ offer among the first few offers on the page as you scroll down.

Good question. It won't be on sale forever though and this will set up your next year for an a decent price after your current $49 year, At least thats what it did for me.

Hope your day is going well!

This is my backup plan. My sub expires in November, and so far the timing has worked out that I cancel and then sign up with their black friday $49 offer. If that doesn't work going forward I will use the AARP discount.
