Just getting back into golf after a ~15yr break and have only played a handful of rounds. Seems the game has changed and feels like EVERYONE uses these now. Are units like this or the Bushnell or the Acer THAT much better than the lower cost (higher discount) versions on amazon?

This is a pretty solid range finder I've used mine for a long time gives you the range quickly and accurately

My dad has one of the cheap ones, and my Bushnell is way better. His can't seem to find the flag half the time.
