Probably some of the worst coffee I've ever tasted if you're a fan of Starbucks pikes place or someone who associates bitterness with strong coffee(which is false) you'll probably like this but it's often over roasted and burnt.
Starbucks is some of the highest caffeine coffee I've ever come across.
I've had both medium and dark roast from this company, and the dark roast is a tad oilier, but definitely not as much as Starbucks. I've also tried preground coffee with my Technivorm, and it tastes fine. Plus, I've used whole beans for espresso, and it's not bad at all. As some folks have mentioned, I recommend checking out local cafes because they often have fresher beans that aren't just sitting around. Also, the beans tend to be less oily and less moist. Lavazza is a great brand, but over the years, I've noticed the flavor has become less intense and lighter. I still enjoy it from time to time, but try not to buy a 2.2-pound bag because it won't last as long. If you're interested in this brand or want to take advantage of this deal, I suggest grabbing a small bag locally first before getting a 2.2-pound bag.
