I forgot they even had a watch. It's a dedicated fitness tracker basically. Not wear os. I think they reskinned a company that has a generic OS that sells it to a lot of other companies unless them reskin it. This is a long way of saying, this is probably a fairly generic watch made by an OEM and license to use the name Motorola. I would keep my expectations in check.

This is pretty much true of the most generic fitness trackers. Like after the big ones like a amaze fit and Fitbit, there's a very big blur of white labeling OEM generic smartwatches. Similar to the earbud market

Interesting price but noticed in a YouTube video showing watch setup that it requires a Lenovo account to use the app, which is needed to use the watch. So you need a Lenovo account to use the watch.

Huh, you're right. Hadn't noticed the lack of reviews...🤔

I thought Slickdeals had a rule against posting deals from Amazon on items with less than 10 reviews. I'm pretty sure I had one post deleted based on that rule before.

What gives?

Seller reviews matter not product IIRC.

No, actually both. Product reviews have to be 25 and seller rating also required. Took a bit of digging but I found the message I received back then:
Quote from Mod Message for previous deal I posted :
Hi, your post was removed. Amazon Third Party sold products need to have a minimum 25 reviews and the seller must have at least 750 rating. The rules can be found here: https://slickdeals.net/f/9051583 . Thanks

It's possible this post we're in is permitted if it's not considered "third party".

Not compatible with iPhones. Why abandon half the US market when it is not even WearOS watch?

I mean that's to be expected. Apple watches don't work on Android, and even though this isn't WearOS, it's still "made" by an Android phone company. Maybe the EU will do something about it but even if they did, that change would probably not come to the US.
