what would you recommend instead? Was pretty sold on a qm7. My issue is I want cheaper or 75"Seemed better than a Roku pro or a Hisense 2024 model?
If you aren't someone who obsseses over color accuracy & every pixel being perfect, the QM7 will be fine. Or spring for a 77" C4 for a few hundred more.

if this is your price point then go with this knowing there some trade offs between size, quality, cost. if you can swing a 77 inch oled b4 model or c4, you will never think about these again .

Ahh yeah that makes sense. Just got an OLED monitor. It is amazing.
My big concern with tv oled is burn it or other accidental damage from my kiddo.
I know it should be fine but I think I would worry about it constantly.
I also watch a lot of sdr or lower quality content also so I just not sure I would get as much benefit?

if you watch a lot of sd then qm7 is real trash w sd processing .its good with hd/4k. burn iin s not really an issue anymore as tv has many safe guards now to prevent it, still would not leave it on cnn all day thou.

the samsung qn90c is better even with samsung not being as good. Especially when it comes to software, that is hisense and tcl's weakpoint in handling upscaling or any older formatted shows and movies. Rtings gives it a btter score, too. 85in is 1399?

Rtings is not always equivalent to real life eyeballs. 90%+ of people will notice almost zero difference between the two
