Yours is a better deal. I've ordered 4-5 refurbs and they've been fine. Packaging isn't the best and the devices can have scuffs, but perfectly fine for the price discount.
PS: OP new device is the same price on Amazon, plus you don't have to deal with Newegg…

This deal is for Minisforum. ACEmagic is the only mini PC company that I'm aware of that has had a malware incident.
Did you watch until the end? After his experience, the influencer recommends buying from well-known brands like Dell, HP, Samsung and from reputable places only. Minisforum is not a well-known brand. These things are cheap for a reason. You are the product. Since these are barebones, there still could be malware hidden in the firmware and therefore not easily detectable.
