This was under 800$ several month ago. This CPU is still Zen4, not worth it.
AMD Zen6 and Apple M6 manufactured with TSMC N2 node is a game changing for mobile devices.
VERY Unlikely.....

Would be curious to see, as I paid 1000 several months ago on here.
It was a black friday deal for 709$. I had ordered one, but they lost it in shipping and refused to ship a second, so I ended up getting a refund and ordering something else.

I bought this model late last year, probably same price. It's surprising to see the price is still holding. This model has two minor issues: 1) some electronic buzz noise, which I managed to tolerate now. 2) sleep does not sleep. It awakes itself randomly, sometimes, instantly. I noticed if I shutdown Teams, Zoom, even some apps, then it could sleep longer. I have no idea why it behaves like this, but it seems it's a well-known issue from online discussions.
Now what's really impressive: earlier this month, I accidentally spilled a bottle of Mexico made Coke (the cane sugar one) on the keyboard. This beast did not even sweat! The laptop was on when the incident occurred. It remained on and functional. After the clean-up, I did not even shut it down, as it's still working! Later once the juice dried, the keyboard was sticky, thanks for the authentic sugar. I dug every key out to clean it up. It's still a little sticky but at least I could type.
Definitely a recommended business laptop. The weight is impressively light. Superb build quality. Very good performance. It's not the good old IBM thinkpad, but it's still a reliable thinkpad.

Oh man, what a deal! I definitely paid near $1000 for this and I still feel it is a pretty good deal for what it is. Hasn't disappointed me yet, but I should be clear I am absolutely not a gamer. The 64 GB of ram is what really enticed me.

I have not noticed the electronic buzz with mine. Will have to pay closer attention.

I bought the previous gen4 version about 14 months ago. So a with a Ryzen 7xxxx CPU and 760M graohics, but with 64 GB. RAM. It is very well built and can play games at 1080 low to medium at 30-60 fps. I am very happy with it. As a developer, it's great running several VMs and WSL2 instances.

Looks at laugh1 comment, it was 709 for IPS fullHD and you can config to OLED for 800$, do the search in forum yourself. I still have a screenshot but I'm not goona share nor I'm here to argue with you. Just FYI for other people, ignore if you don't like to hear it.
