Still with the tiny 52Whr battery. Why? Even my piddly $450 hp Omni 5 15" ai 340 has a 59Whr battery...

They tried, but it forgot.

To me the specs are strange and I'm not sure the use case for the price.

Is this a good price? or will it come even down?
How does this compare to Intel version that might come soon?
I ordered this laptop but having second thoughts!
The final price with taxes in Illinois came to $1,475.81
For this price, it could be possible to get the intel variant of this same laptop.

Among x86 laptops, the ThinkPad P14s Gen 5 AMD has the best anti-reflective OLED display.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition (16" Intel) could outperform it if glare problems are solved with higher brightness.

I hate the new low blue light Thinkpad displays, I had to return two different ones because I can't get used to the yellowish hue.

What does screen glare have to do with performance? Maybe you mean "surpass it"?

If there's one thing about Lenovo, it's that they introduce new models with high prices and as time goes on, the prices go lower. The absolute best time to buy is during BF or when the next gen is about to come out (or has come out and the previous gen is on clearance). But, another thing to know about Lenovo is given two models of the same laptop, the Intel variant will be higher priced and AMD will be the best value.

So, if you're not in a hurry, just bookmark the page at Lenovo.com for this product and set an alert here at SD's. It will go lower.

EDIT: If you've no need for "AI", the previous Gen 5 (AMD) is a better value right now @ $1109 for similar config:

The Ryzen 7 Pro 8840HS is a better performer whilst the Ryzen 7 Pro 350 has better "AI" and is slightly more battery efficient.
I, like many, am not away from a power outlet that long that an hour difference is that big a deal. I also carry a power bank.

I'd say you have a problem with yours. I've had quite a bit of hands-on experience with that model and the only time it did memory training was after a BIOS/firmware update.

$1400 isn't that high for a quality laptop with great specs. The "use case" is practically anyone wanting more than 16GB with a quality OLED panel and the latest gen CPU.
