Buy two. A pair of batteries alone would be more expensive. I bought my young son a 2x24V mower last year to mow the cul de sac and was in the same boat looking to buy more batteries. My best option was a Walmart/Amazon deal on a string trimmer that I'll never use as it came with two 24V 4Ah batteries around this same price.

This is worth it just for the batteries. I paid this price for an open box. Pro tip, do not get a chain saw with the 2ah batteries, they over heat.

This is $60 for one battery and a heatgun. Might as well buy two saws at that point.
