12th gen is the last generation to be free of the fatal flaw suffered by 13th and 14th gens.

Do these processors suffer from the big Intel issues from a year or two ago? Cant remember the main issue but people avoided a few Intel generations due to it.

32 GB of RAM and 1 TB only brings it up to $329, which is cheaper than the 32/512 combo, just in case you didn't want to have to bring your own.

12900 seems 10-30% faster then 6900hx.

Edit: at the same time ryzen tends to run cooler, so a lot depends on cooling solution and exact timing of testing. I myself will probably look for 8845HS or similar

I bought another refurbished n100 mini PC from them and it's been perfectly fine. I did run some stress tests for a couple hours to validate it.

The ones with RAM/SSD come with Windows. Suggest logging into your Microsoft account to digitally link the license, then do a fresh install for good measure. I'm not the most trusting of these inexpensive PCs not to have extras installed that we don't want.

Careful with these random Chinese brand mini PCs. They seem to run on substandard hardware and have poorly developed or missing drivers. I would recommend buying from Amazon where at least you have the ability to return if you run into problems.

that's $329 before the $25 off coupon. So, $304 afterwards.

$90 for 32gb RAM and a 1tb SSD is pretty solid.

They should make these with a mini screen too.

Wish these things had usb-c power supplies. Then it's almost "hey let me get out my car computer and we can do a little coding". Borrow an adapter, keyboard, and a TV and you're gtg.

Raspberry 500 keyboards are close to ideal, but seemingly underpowered.
