Ugly? It's a knockoff of one of the more iconic lamps of the last century: the Vernor Panton flower pot lamp.

Maybe not the best knocking out the best colors and I think it works better as a hanging lamp, but it isn't terrible.

You are right, and dang is the original expensive [lumens.com] ($600!!!). Even the Amazon knockoff is $135. I'd rather pay $3. Wink

Terrible reviews. These are meant to be used as accent lighting, not actual room illumination. Limited battery life (2-3hrs) and the different units seem to have variable brightness. Looks like junk unless you want to harvest the batteries.

Eh, I bought 3. I don't expect them to be bright. I expect them to be about as bright as a nightlight in the hallway. Good enough to find your way around. They're so cheap, but shipping was $6.99. I stacked 3, and shipping stated at $6.99. why not? Probably good on a covered porch. I wonder if you can use them while charging.
