Worked out to $529.05 after tax. If you have one of the impacted 6a phones, the Superfans code takes off 10% ($99.90) so stacking that with the $100 cash payout is a better deal than using the $150 6a code alone.
They also gave me $75 for my nerfed 6a, apart from that pricing. So I'm into an 8 Pro with the free case and watch for about ~$350. Not bad; was planning on replacing my 6a soon anyway.
edit: just realized the Superfans codes may have expired on July 15.
Debating whether to hop on this deal or to wait for either the 9 / 9 Pro to come down in price or 6a trade-in value increase. With the battery issue essentially making my 6a not useable, I might have to bite the bullet here.
Is there any screen crack improvements on the phone? I've cracked the screen on my Pixel 6 Pro twice and even the smallest crack (The first time the crack was barely visible) completely mess up the digitizer. My OnePlus 6T I've had for 10 years with no case and not a crack on my screen.
6 Pro screen was prone to cracking because of the curved screen. Had to replace mine to trade it in on the 9 Pro XL.
Glad they're moving away from curved screens.
