I feel this is better. Besides Apple watch is closed ecosystem, so alienates non iOS users automatically. Only issue is that this Garmin is old, like 3yrs old now.

Based on the part number in the Walmart description (PART NUMBER010-02582-20). Yes, as it aligns with what Garmin says: https://www.garmin.com/en-CA/p/760778/. Hope this helps

I got this for my wife one year ago for $449 and she really likes it. I can confirm it has the sapphire glass.

Had multiple Apple watches and my Garmin Epix is so so much better. Titanium makes it very light on the wrist and I only have to charge it once or twice a month unless doing a lot of GPS tracking.

I bought it from Walmart for around $350 or so, so this is not the lowest price, but its a damn good watch.

I have both Apple Watch and this. Apple Watch doesn't get worn anymore as this is MUCH more capable. It's a bit complex and more manual to use whereas Apple Watch is more intuitive and user friendly for grab and go with automatic tracking and integration (iOS, Siri, etc.). But this Garmin is legit, the battery lasts a week or two depending on use, and the proprietary app does well.

Keep in mind this is quite a large watch, 47mm casing. Here it is on an adult male arm:
