I did but only saw a $2200 deal for Valerion. I thought I missed a sub-$2000 deal...

Are there any comparable 4k options with decent horiz/vert lens shift, optical zoom, and throw ratio <1.0 at this price point?

If you are looking for a short throw projector with lens shift it is slim picking. A used or refurbished LG HU801PW or Optoma UHD35stx are your best options at the moment.
