Its really heavy though... if you are using in a hotel with worn down sockets for example, the brick falls out due to the weight

I just bought the Anker 65watt Gan charger for $25. You need to check the $14 coupon to get it for $25. Its built like a tank works great for my drone triple charger.

Yeah this is currently the best charger on the market if you're not charging a high demand laptop

many laptops require minimum 65W for charging/use. If you primarily plug a laptop, and add a second device on other ports of the block, your laptop won't receive power correctly.

65W GaN II A2667 has these small print notes/disclaimers

"Based on the product information, the Anker USB C Charger (Nano II 65W) was first available on August 9, 2021.
Note Charge your Apple Watch first when charging multiple devices. If the watch charger is connected to the USB-A port without an Apple Watch connected, unplug and reconnect it before charging.
Note Supports Super Fast Charging for S22 Ultra but does not support 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0."

This 67W A2669 GaNPrime doesn't, but its $9 more currently. Smaller and newer too.
"The Anker Prime 67W USB C Charger was first available on July 31, 2023."

These similar sounding chargers always confuse me.

The $35 charger (Prime charger/A2669) is the newer version of the older $25 charger (Nano II/A2667). The Prime is slightly more efficient and generate less heat, but is slightly larger. Other than the size and efficiency, the 2 chargers offers almost identical feature and charging performance.

Both the Prime and the Nano II support Samsung SFC (Super Fast Charging) 1.0 (25W), but neither of them support SFC 2.0 (45W) because their PPS current is capped at 3.3A while Samsung SFC 2.0 requires 5A.

I have no idea why SD staff are pushing these, but you can get very similar charger at Costco for $5 cheaper if you're a member. I've even seen them on sale at $19.99. Plus the Costco one comes with an extra charger that does 30w. Some folks will say the Amazon one is "A lot" smaller, but it's like 1.97 inches vs 2.1 inches long. Other thread also said the Amazon one charges MUCH faster, but I don't know about that. Both are 67w GaN chargers...

The Costco charger is physically larger than the GaN chargers. Otherwise, they have similar capabilities.

I have this Anker 67W charger and the larger 100W version. Both are really solid, premium-feeling chargers. A bit bulky, but I personally think that adds to the look, feel, and overall heat dissipation. No complaints for travel or home use.

Yeah, that's what I posted 1.97 inches vs 2.1. Both are GaN. Both are 67w. The size is negligible.

The Costco one is 23.5% bigger by volume and we're talking about only a $10 or so difference here on a single item that'll last years. Plenty of people would prefer best in class especially if the cost is a cheeseburger.

What is your source for 1.97 vs 2.1 inches? It is not correct of any of the chargers being discussed.

The 65W Nano II is 1.5 X 1.15 X 2.6 inches = 4.49 in^3

The 67W Prime 67 is 1.6 X 1.5 X 1.9 inches = 4.56 in^3

The 67 W Costco is 1.77 X 1.53 X 2.13 inches = 5.77 in^3 (my measurement because it is not listed on the Anker website)

I own both the 65W Nano II and the Costco 67 W. I prefer the Nano II for travel. The slim profile fits into my minimalist laptop sleeve. It also weighs less. The Costco 67W is significantly fatter and stays permanently plugged in at home. Negligible is a personal assessment. Mathematically, the Costco 67W is 29% larger by volume and 19% heavier than the Nano II.

I have so many damn chargers not enough power 🔌 I just picked up a 65w travel adapter in addition to the Anker 140w A9128. Hopefully this will cover me for a while. Retired a bunch of old underpowered adapters. If you plan on doing any international travel look into getting a GaN travel adapter. You might be able to use it as an all in one depending on your power needs.
