I'll never understand why companies keep putting 'X' in the name of devices that are not 2 in 1s. It's confusing. Please stop.

The 2in1 OmniBooks have "flip" in the title. Not really sure why you think x is a standard for 2in1.

completely agree. shall thought X was reserved for Qualcomm chips too. PC vendors need to learn from Apple and stop overhauling naming every other year!

From chatgpt:
When a laptop model includes the suffix "X", it often carries specific marketing or product positioning implications, depending on the brand. Here's what "X" typically suggests:
🔹 Common Meanings of "X" in Laptop Names
  1. Extreme / High Performance
    • "X" often denotes powerful hardware, meant for gaming, content creation, or intensive tasks.
    • Example: ThinkPad X1 Extreme (Lenovo) — a high-performance ultrabook.
  2. Experimental / Cutting-Edge Design
    • "X" can imply an innovative or flagship design, showcasing the best of a brand's tech.
    • Example: ASUS ZenBook Pro X — featuring advanced display and GPU tech.
  3. Slim / Lightweight / Executive
    • In business series (like Lenovo's ThinkPad X), it may refer to ultraportable premium machines.
    • Example: ThinkPad X1 Carbon — a lightweight, high-end business laptop.
  4. Special Edition / Enhanced Variant
    • Sometimes, "X" simply distinguishes a variant or refresh of a base model, often with upgraded features.

Anyone know the wattage on the 4050? Struggling to find anything. I think the Spectre runs at 55W, curious if this is the same or higher.

I believe on this unit it averages about 35W.

I purchased this computer when it was a brand new model at Best Buy as an upgrade for a user that started using illustrator and their current U series CPU with 16GB of RAM just wasn't enough for her and she kept complaining about their current system's performance.

Screen was extremely responsive, nice and bright, CPU performance was very good. To me the most impressive thing of this machine was how quiet it was even when the system was fully loaded with 100% CPU load.

Laptop has been deployed for 2 weeks so far and no issues reported by the user.
