Or they can raise the price or keep the same knowing people are desperate it's the last chance for 30% tax credit.
I missed the chance to buy these battery for $700 back in January Slick Deal. Tariff + last few months to buy solar make it a risky gamble.
You can get new equipment but it's not a tax rebate. It's a tax credit against your tax liability and can be rolled to next year if you don't use it all.
I went with NRG Clean Power. I asked them to price matched a competitor to get $2.17/watt. 6.4 kW solar system for under $14k - 30% tax credit = under $10k.
I should have two different solar system operational: 8.6kwh to export to the grid/charge Tesla power wall to run the house and non export 6.4kwh to run the house during the day & charge Ecoworthy battery.
They used Enphase micro inverter + Rec 460watt panels. They could not let me hook up to my 2 Tesla PW since it would PW would be export to the grid. I just finished the install and waiting for inspection. I did hear people are rushing to install solar and more panels before Dec 31 deadline so you should hurry.
This battery system isn't on grid to provide house backup so adding battery is easy.
Next step is integrate all 3 system (Tesla, Enphase EG4 6000xp) into Home Assistant and have them intelligently manage excess power
