I got 4 of these the last deal with server rack battery. Hooked up to EG4 6000xp. It charge my Tesla at level 2 charging 24A. 1/4 vs what Tesla and Enphase want to charge me per KW.

Any suggested reading on how to integrate as grid-tied inside of existing solar / inverter? WE get 2-3 outages a year >24hrs. Goals in priority order:
1) 1day backup (could switch to existing gas generator feeding panel)
2) Load shifting overnight
3) Charging via gas generator for prolonged outages

Thanks in advance!

You're mixing these with Power Wall? I've currently got 19.1kW solar system that overproduces and my single Powerwall 3 doesn't last the whole night. Can't use either of my EVs for battery storage (which is stupid, but a different discussion). I'd love to get more battery capacity without having to use another PW3.
No. Power Wall is to power the house and hooked up to my legacy Tesla solar panel. Eco-Worthy battery is for excess power by secondary solar system that is not allow to export back to the grid. EcoWorthy suck up all the extra power when I'm not home and charge my EV at level 2 when I am home.

from my understanding there is also electricity delivery charge on top of the cost per khw from edison. electricity is crazy expensive here in socal.
Yes. There are daily charge as well including delivery charge. It's expensive that's why I added more solar panels but make it non export to stay on NEM 2.0 and use Eco-Worthy battery to charge the excess and charge my EV.

Probably talking about thishttps://www.ebay.com/itm/12695881...R9jUlveBZgDefinitely a better price per KWH but not sure how keen I'd be on wiring these in a 4s4p config
Not keen at all. pack imbalances would be wild. Putting 12v batteries with their own BMS in series is a recipe for absolute disaster. You'd be better off removing the BMS, putting the cells in series, and then getting a 48v (nominal) bms to balance the cells. At that point, just buying raw cells +BMS or buying a battery like the link above would be better.

I pulled the trigger on this yesterday not knowing that Eco-Worthy sent me an email with the $150 off coupon. Just FYI, they won't refund you $150 after-the-fact if you don't apply the coupon (I knew I was going to get shot down, but I had to try). Regardless, the time is NOW to figure out solar and/or battery backup solution with the solar tax credit going away at the end of the year. The threat of tariffs also pushed me toward doing this now.
I ended up purchasing an EG4 12000xp to run these "off-grid" for ~$2,500.00 from Solar Guys Pro, an authorized sub-distributor of EG4 products. I'm going to tie it to a 100A breaker in my main panel to charge and provide pass-through to the critical load circuits. I plan on using Time of Use (TOU) rates to discharge the batteries during peak hours. Generator input will also be fed by my Ford F-150 Lightning in the event of a total power outage. Solar will be added down the line and the EV charger will be thrown on the 12000xp's smart port for load shedding. I have no plans to set up a net metering plan, as I don't want to work through the complications and complexities my power company puts me through. I'd rather concentrate on eliminating my need of them entirely...

The only thing I'm confused about after watching a few installation videos are where do the wires on a 240v go into the inverter. Do both load wires go to the inverter so where does the neutral and ground go

For the EG4 12000xp, there's an L1 and L2 lug for each 120v leg. Neutral and ground have their own bars just below the load/grid terminals.

I wonder since the current government killed the rebates about 8 years early all these battery companies will now be doing super sales to sell as much as possible before the end of the year.

These are their latest V3 batteries. I believe the terminal posts swap orientation from V2 batteries so aren't easily mixed

It appears this isn't too much of an issue because they have enough wire in the V3 to swap the terminals to match the V2.
