I could use a fast tablet for 5+ years. I still have a Chromebook from 2020 that I use for work. If the tablet can watch movies and supports a pen, that's all I really care about. Newer updates won't benefit my use case.
The first thing I did was read about debloating the tablet. And that is one of the first things I plan to do BUT just like Amazon, once you get an update I bet the bloatware will return. The amount of bloatware is very small... nothing like Samsung.
Good Luck saving up... right now there is like a six week wait.... I am expecting mine this Friday (took redmagic 5 days to ship).
The only other small tablets that I like is the Alldocube Iplay Mini 60 Turbo and iPlay 70 mini Ultra Tablet but it depends on the price... due to Trump Tariffs, this may no longer be a deal.
And I own the Tab S8 and gave it to my kid and I got the iplay mini 60 Turbo (paid $130 and now it is almost double... not worth it). And there is the ALLDOCUBE iPlay 70 mini Ultra Tablet. The alldocube's are GOOD, but the Astra is a MONSTER Tablet.
Really enjoying the S Pen for journaling so far. Unfortunately, putting on a tempered glass screen protector negates its antiglare coating so you end up choosing between protection from scratching or antiglare.
Trade-In Discount(s) Other Android Tablet -$250.00
Promotional Discount(s)-$120.00
Education Savings -$112.50
I got the Redmagic Gaming Tablet and I am MORE THEN IMPRESSED... WOW... WOW... WOW. You will love it. I was most impressed with the sound, it is louder and clearer then my Tab S9 with four speakers and it only has two speakers. The screen is as good as they say, Samsung's OLED screens do not even come close. Very little bloatware installed, but I did personally delete it, using ADB. The battery lasts and lasts and lasts and charges SO fast... 80Watt charging speed. On top of all this they made a whole section on gaming which I was impressed with. Controlling a fan and RGBs is kind of fun... I like the fact that the fan goes on when you charge it. All in all, this is the best tablet I have ever touched and I see myself not buying a new tablet for at least five years or maybe seven. Buy the way my laptop which still functions great is about 12 years old.
