I can't speak to this expansion, but the base game is one of the better games at higher player counts. It's a hidden role game, but even if the monster is discovered, they can still win.

That's "the thing" you need a high player count to really make the game work. I can't even get four people together and everyone's eyes are glued to their cellphones. It was easy back in 1990! laugh out loud

I'm with you. I almost bought this because I like the base game, then I remembered that I'm lucky if this gets to the table three times in a year. I unfortunately feel that I've become more of a board game collector than board game player. And now I'm sad.
