Is it just me or does $3 for 2 pens (even with 4 colors) is expensive? That's a premium to pay just for a character sticker

The non-Marvel-stickered packs of these pens cost about $8 per 3-pack at Walmart.

So yeah apparently this is a good deal, stickers or not.

Sorry to be that guy and debate over $3 of pens lol. But it's just weird getting a Front Page app alert for seemingly not cheap pens.

On Amazon, you can get a 12-pack of the same Bic, but no Marvel sticker, pens for $16.24 with S&S. Cheaper by unit price.

Not a great comparison. Volume is always cheaper. You can buy 5 dozen eggs at Costco for $13, or you can pay $4/doz at the grocery store.

But I agree fundamentally, compared to my childhood (or even maybe 5 years ago), $1.50 for one of these shitty four-color pens seems...like an overpay.

Hi, Eddie. You're not wrong, but in my experience the Bic brand is actually better than the generics which feel flimsy. And the unit price is better on the 12 pack you link, but not by very much. These work out to a bit under $1.50 per pen, and the 12 pack is about $1.33 per pen. If you only want a couple of these pens, it's a solid deal and I appreciate the posting of it.
