too bad the last bh&g items I bought on sale here required me to buy $35 worth of additional hardware because of manufacturing defects. dont get me wrong, I like what I bought, I just didn't expect the addition cost which made it less of a deal.

We bought a bunch of bh&g shelves during Prime Day/Walmart Day and got 3 bad ones. Won't be buying from this company again. One came without instructions or screws, plus the pieces were all nicked up, second had tons of nicks, third had gashes on the shelves and literally chunked off when putting in the plastic connectors. This company use to have great quality but has really gone down hill.

I think this is some insight into why the quality is where it is.. looks like a decent percentage of people just accept damaged product, like myself and this guy.
I bought one of these cube shelves from T@rget and after having it mostly put together noticed damage on one of the panel's outside facing sides. Putting it together involved wetting pre-glued dowels... They would only accept the return if it was in the box, which would've been basically impossible at that point.
Take photos of the box contents to see how it all fits in the box and take out the panels 1 at a time for inspection
