First ever purchase? Even as an  user, I made movie purchases before using google credit... not sure who qualifies. Or is that just some badly written fine print and they mean 1st ever purchase using PP?

Made a purchase of $3.79 (although not my very first ever), will report back if/when the CB is added. Offer terms say CB is usually added 3-5 days after the purchase.

Did you purchase or rent the movie? Thanks

Sorry, for the confusion. I rented the movie for $3.19. I don't think it matters if you rent or buy but renting will keep your out of pocket cost cheaper. See Spot Run is also the same price as New York Minute but there were many rentals for 3.59, 3.79, 3.99 etc so as long as your total is $3+ then you should be fine.

if you play hearthstone, could buy something cheap in the store on a android device and pay with google play/paypal.

So it doesn't matter if the rental is only $2.99 before tax?

Didn't work for me as others reported. Didn't get any email about points pending etc. May take up to five days according to fine print. We'll see

Hm, I rented and didn't get any rewards/confirmation, but my offer does now show "Expired" in my PP> Maybe it's because I used PP balance and not a credit card?

Worked for me. Purchased an SD movie rental for $3.19 -- "Rendition" starring Jake Gyllenhaal -- and PayPal emailed me immediate confirmation.

Mine showed "Expired" when I made the purchase, I believe because the reward had been triggered. I got an email shortly after that.

I wasn't charged tax for the rental so I had to find a movie rental that was $3+ ($3.19). If you're being charged tax and your total after tax is $3+ then you should be fine as long as it shows at checkout a $3+ total. To be safe you could always do a $3.19 movie but just make sure it shows $3+ on PayPal's end.

Bought a game using mix of Google Play balance (from redeeming points) and >$3 charged to PayPal. PayPal offer now says "Ends < 1 hour", maybe they changed to noon CST as deadline? Edit: offer now says expired. Maybe it qualified like other reported.

Still waiting on PayPal emails (both the transaction and offer redeemed emails). Will see if this comes through; not my first time using PayPal for Google Play but others reported success so figured I'll give it a try.
