I'm an andrpid guy, but the ipad 11 is way more powerful for cheaper or same price. I got my iPad 11 for $229 from shopmyexchange.
If this was $199 then iit's a great price.

Just keep in mind with Samsungs weird ( deceptive) trade in values, it is $374 without a trade in and $300 with the trade in, so you are getting $74 for the tablet , not $100 if that matters

Yes, and the m4 iPad Pro. It's cheaper than my tab s10 plus but with a way faster cpu. That's why I'm done buying android tablets until they put a better cpu. Why should I pay more for dim screen and slower cpu?lolI do like 16x10 screen on the tab plus though, because I watch a lot of videos.
Just purchased the Redmagic Astra Gaming Tablet for $521.00; 9.06" OLED 1600Nits 165Hz 16:9, SD 8 Elite, 12/256, and a couple of other firsts such as vapor chamber cooling, 4.1 UFs hard drive technology.
Got it during the presale... but I only saved $30.00.
Check it out.. Redmagic.com
This is "THE" android tablet to get if you like emulations or like watching movies or TV.

What's their software update policy? For most of the Android tablets, they are released and forgotten - Even the Lenovo's expensive ones support only 2 OS Upgrades. Only Samsung and Pixel tablets are reliable as far as software support is concerned. And may be, OnePlus.

Starting in June 2025, the EU is implementing new regulations requiring smartphone and tablet manufacturers to provide at least 5 years of operating system and security updates for devices sold in Europe. This is part of a broader EU initiative focused on sustainability and repairability. Additionally, there's a 7-year guarantee for spare parts availability.

ZTE's Redmagic Astra Gaming Tablet will be sold main stream in EU and is sold hear in the USA through redmagic.com or redmagic's amazon store or redmagic's Aliexpress store. I purchased mine from redmagic.com

Besides Samsung and google... you can add to the list Pocco and Redmagic and others. All these companies are plenty big and plenty rich enough to support 5 years of OS... I am a little worried about the small guys like Alldocube, Lincplus and Teclast, all three of these companies were instrumental to getting the G99 CPU out to the public for 1/3 the price of Samsung's SD695 (A9+). Alldocube has the cheapest tablet with HDMI out (usb 3.1) and it comes the the SD 6 Gen 1.

ZTE is worth 200 Billion with 70K employees. BIG company. Samsung is worth about 300 Billion. With the EU and knowing you are buying a product from a well known brand, I think we are good.

It doesn't matter what's the worth of a company is. I am asking what their OS upgrade policy is. Lenovo is big too and yet, they are lousy about their OS update policies.
You shared something about Europe. Is the same policy applicable to the United States? When you go to a product on Samsung's site, you can see explicitly how many years of OS and Security updates the device would get. Is there any such written policy on ZTE's site?

Or military/veteran status. I used it for yesterday's Samsung deal on a Galaxy Tab S10+ for $562.49.

That screen light bleed is what Samsung calls "NORMAL". If you don't want light bleed you need a OLED. My Tab S8 had terrible light bleed... the thing is, you trade it in and you just get another one with the same problem.
You buy NEW, you have a issue on day one... and they give you a refurbished model... talk about customer service.

Only Samsung and Google and maybe Oneplus???? How does Samsung get on this list with all their shit that they have done in the RECENT past? There are MAJOR alligations against Samsung regarding MISSING GOOGLE SECURITY PATCHES!!!
Studies have shown instances where certain Samsung devices, while claiming to be up-to-date, were found to be missing some security patches.
  • This creates a lack of transparency, making it difficult for users to verify the actual security status of their devices, notes WIRED.
3. Potential impact on older devices
  • The staggered update schedule and occasional missed patches raise concerns about the long-term usability and security of older Samsung devices, particularly as they fall further behind on the update schedule
Samsung has SO MUCH BLOATWARE that of course many security updates will effect Samsung's bloat (spy) ware. And it makes sense that they will exclude security patches that effect their software.
IF you want to be protected you get yourself a CHROMEBOOK or a Pixel Tablet. I personally do not trust any other company besides the maker of the OS itself.

Samsung got caught...
certain vendors' phones would tell users that they had all of Android's security patches up to a certain date, while in reality missing as many as a dozen patches from that period—leaving phones vulnerable to a broad collection of known hacking techniques.
