I chatted and said I noticed a cheaper price when I added the same item into the cart. They said they noticed the difference and will issue me a refund of the difference.
Same here, chatted and they will refund the difference. Told me to look for an email in the next 24-48 hours. Took under 5 min
Who needs these phones? Why just not get a tablet for a third of the price? Tab S10+ was for $500ish
Sounds good. When you figure out how to fold that tablet and put it in your pocket, let me know.
Z fold 5 owner here and absolutely love it. Battery isn't quite what it used to be after 2 years so I'll probably pull the trigger. I will never go back to a non folding phone. Current decision is whether or not to wait for the tri-fold screen.
Warning: Whoever pre-ordered it before and try to cancel it might not go through. i found out the price dropped last night, and I just canceled my last pre-ordered right the way. but when i received the cancel email, they only canceled my digital goods (software bonuses, Samsung care), but the phone still were stuck "in process." Now the "cancel" option on "my order" is disappear. i can't cancel it anymore.
I just chatted with rep 3 times see if they can help and 2 of the rep said I have to wait 24 hours to see if the cancelation goes though an other rep said i have to wait 24-36hr. that stupid... the item not even shipped yet. i dont know why they dont let me cancel it.
i was able to get them to process it here. I didnt' want to reorder, since pick up would've pushed it back another week and sent me to a much further location.
I will be keeping my fold 6 for 24 or 36 months. The discounted $200 cost to replace the inner screen ($400 off) make it a wise choice trade in only every 24 to 36 months. I plan to replace my fold 6 inner screen at 23 months with the $200 new inner screen discount. My last three fold phones all had inner screens delaminating (breaking) at 24 months. A well timed re-screen and 2 to 3 years between upgrades will cut the cost of ownership on this expensive phone to about $350 per year.
In my samsung phone, I ordered Fold 7 512GB for $799.99 after $900 trade-in credit for Fold 5.
Here is what I did.
Clicked on shop link in work related perks at work(edge browser) in my phone which re-routed to shop samsung application, where I got below discounts.
Reserve promotion-$100, promotional discounts(for storage)-$120, TradeIn -$900,Workplace Savings-$150, Order discount-$50. Total discount-$1320.
OP, please update the title and description to include $300 accessories credit (without trade-in). There are multiple options to select from - watch, cases, tablet, etc.
Thanks, I updated the description and gave you credit

After hours of adding items to the cart, taking screenshots(had to order on mobile for Samsung App Credit), and comparing options,
I finally made the purchase and ended up going with it:
Final Purchase Total:
$936.47 = $664.08($27.67 x 24) + $325.02(Tax, Membership & Accessories) - $52.63 CB
$68.92 installment for 24 mos
- $41.25 credit for 24 mos
======== $27.67 will be the monthly installment amount
Again, I applied all these available promotions and discounts, including:
Preorder Signup Bonus
EPP/EDU pricing
Advantage Membership
Samsung Shop App First Time Purchase Credit
Samsung Live Exclusive Coupon($50) for add-on/accessories
Like many others, I was initially waiting for a better post-pre-order deal.
But in the end, I was more concerned about the uncertainty of the Tariffs situation.
I also added the VIP Advantage Membership, which I started from the Care+ plan.
The VIP plan seems like the better option, especially since it includes 2 years of Samsung Care+
coverage for up to 4 devices - a major plus considering the foldable screen issue.
This is going to be a huge upgrade from my LG V60 Dual Screen, which has been my daily driver for past years.
Yes, I do love to consider all other foldables options - like Oppo Find N5, Honor Magic V5, and Vivo X Fold 5.
But realistically, Samsung is the only reliable and safe choice in the U.S. for the current and maybe at least next 2+ years.
